DMCA Policy

Effective date: July 21, 2026

Jeet — VA Mesothelioma & Asbestos Benefits Guide (https://jeet.djvishwajeet.in/) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects everyone who uses this site to do the same. This policy explains how copyright owners can request removal of material under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512 (the “DMCA”), and how affected users can respond.

Our Commitment

All guides on this site are written by our editorial team, with facts drawn from official government and reputable medical sources. If, despite our standards, you believe any material on this site infringes a copyright you own or control, you may submit a takedown notice as described below. We respond promptly to valid notices.

How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice

Send your notice by email to our designated agent contact: support@jeet.djvishwajeet.in (subject line: “DMCA Takedown Notice”). To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all six of the following elements:

  • 1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or, if multiple works are covered by one notice, a representative list of those works).
  • 2. Identification of the allegedly infringing material, with enough detail for us to locate it — include the exact URL(s) on jeet.djvishwajeet.in where the material appears.
  • 3. Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • 4. A good-faith statement: a statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • 5. An accuracy statement made under penalty of perjury: a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that, under penalty of perjury, you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
  • 6. A signature: a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf (a typed full legal name in an email is acceptable as an electronic signature).

Incomplete notices may not be actionable. If your notice is missing required elements, we may contact you to request the missing information before acting.

What Happens After We Receive a Notice

Upon receiving a valid takedown notice, we will review it promptly and may remove or disable access to the identified material while the matter is being resolved, even before any final determination. Where feasible, we will make a reasonable effort to notify the person who posted the material and provide them with a copy of the notice so they may respond.

Counter-Notification Procedure

If material you posted or are responsible for was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to support@jeet.djvishwajeet.in (subject line: “DMCA Counter-Notification”). Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3), your counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature;
  • Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and the location (URL) where it appeared before removal;
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which the site operator may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may forward it to the original complainant. Unless the complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement, the removed material may be restored in no less than 10 and no more than 14 business days after we receive the counter-notification.

Repeat-Infringer Policy

We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the access or contribution privileges of any user or contributor who is determined to be a repeat infringer, and of permanently removing repeat-infringing material from the site.

Misrepresentation Warning

Please be aware that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or that material was removed by mistake — may be liable for damages, including costs and attorney fees, incurred by the alleged infringer, the copyright owner, or the service provider. Do not submit false claims.
